Proton International

Powering the future of cancer care

SFPTI is powered by Proton International. Completed in December 2018, SFPTI is the first proton therapy cancer center owned and operated by Proton International, and the 10th that they have designed and built worldwide.

The team at Proton International has been involved in the development of more proton therapy centers than any staff in the industry. Their services include design, construction, equipment installation, commissioning, training, clinical protocols, ongoing equipment service and maintenance, and operational support. Under the leadership of CEO Chris Chandler and Director Ron Gilden, Proton International is guided by a desire to help others and improve the treatment and quality of life for cancer patients. They are dedicated to bringing proton therapy to as many communities as possible, and positively impacting those they serve.

Treating people right and “doing good” are the foundational principles on which Proton International was built — it’s in their DNA.

The facilities developed by Proton International are low risk and more affordable than ever before. For years, their team has created and operated small one- and two-room proton facilities as well as larger complexes like SFPTI.

Regardless of a project’s magnitude, Proton International ensures it will be completed on time, under budget, and meet the needs of your institution.
